syslog server setting

Download the file from following link as text and save at desktop as
syslog-ng.conf

copy the syslog-ng.conf file to /etc/syslog-ng/
by
$sudo cp Desktop/syslog-ng.conf /etc/syslog-ng/
Then run this command
$sudo /etc/init.d/syslog-ng restart

See the /var/log/ folder.
